racist and a bigot

 

I’m writing this post because of the Paula Deen stories that have been put online.  I have read many blogs and comments on racism and bigotry and I want you hear what you have to say.

I believe that everyone at some point or another in their life has been a racist or a bigot because of stereotypes that society has attached to certain ethnicities.  I have heard and made racist jokes because I thought they were funny, it was nothing personal on anyone.  It is the degree or racism and bigotry that is the problem.

I will update this post as I read some of your emails or comments.
